Dance School Branding
& Uniform Design
Brandworx® helps dance schools and performing arts organisations create a distinctive, consistent identity across their brand and apparel.
Whether you’re developing a new identity or bringing structure to an existing one, we create a system that works across uniform, dancewear, teamwear and merchandise.
What is Brandworx®?
Brandworx® is our Apparel Identity System.
It defines what your organisation wears, who wears it and how your identity is applied — creating one coherent system from identity through to production.
From Uniform to Identity
Your apparel is one of the most visible expressions of your organisation.
Students train in it. Teams compete in it. Staff represent you in it. Families buy it. And when people choose to wear your merchandise beyond the studio, your brand becomes part of their identity too.
Brandworx® brings structure to that experience by creating an apparel system around five key areas:
Core Uniform
The everyday expression of your organisation — creating consistency, recognition and a clear sense of belonging.
Dancewear
Discipline and training-specific apparel structured around the practical requirements of your students and programmes.
Team & Performance
Competition, troupe and representative apparel that distinguishes those representing your organisation while remaining part of the wider brand.
Staff
A consistent approach to apparel for teachers, assistants and other team members where staff identification is re
Merchandise
Optional products people choose to wear — extending your identity beyond compulsory uniform and into the wider community.
What You Get
Brandworx® combines creative direction with practical apparel thinking to create a system that can be implemented consistently in the real world.
Visual Identity
Where your existing identity isn’t strong enough to support the system, we can create or develop the visual foundations of your brand — including Logo Design, colour palette, typography and visual language.
For organisations with an established, suitable identity, we work with what already exists.
Apparel Architecture
Before adding more products, we establish what your organisation actually needs.
We audit and rationalise your existing apparel, identify wearer and programme groups, define the role of each range and remove unnecessary duplication.
The aim isn’t to create more clothing.
It’s to create the right system.
Apparel Identity
Your approved brand is translated consistently across uniforms, dancewear, teamwear and merchandise.
We establish how identity, graphics, colour, hierarchy and garment treatments work together so that different ranges can perform different roles while still belonging unmistakably to the same organisation.
Production Standards
Approved products are developed with clear application and production specifications covering artwork, positioning, dimensions, colour and decoration requirements.
Together, these standards create your Apparel Production Guide — helping protect consistency as the system moves into production.
How Brandworx® Works
Brandworx® creates the strategic and visual foundation your organisation needs to present itself consistently and translate its identity effectively onto apparel.
01. Review
We assess your existing brand and apparel to understand what’s working, what’s inconsistent and where opportunities exist.
This includes your visual identity, current uniform and apparel ranges, wearer groups, merchandise and how the system is currently managed.
02. Rationalise
We look at what should stay, what should change, what’s duplicated and what’s missing.
This prevents years of accumulated products, colours, logos and one-off decisions from simply being carried into a new system.
03. Architect
We structure the apparel around the organisation itself — its students, disciplines, teams, staff, programmes and community.
Every product should have a reason to exist.
04. Design
We create the visual identity, apparel graphics and product applications required by the agreed system.
Existing identities can be retained where they’re appropriate. New visual identity work is included only where it’s actually required.
05. Standardise
Approved applications are documented for production so that the identity can be reproduced consistently across garments, ranges and future orders.

Does Your Apparel Reflect the Organisation You've Become?
Many dance schools grow organically.
A T-shirt gets added. Then a hoodie. A competition team needs something different. Someone introduces another logo. Staff need clothing. A show creates merchandise. A new programme launches with another range.
Individually, each decision can make sense. Over time, the result can become fragmented.
Brandworx® is designed for established and growing dance schools and performing arts organisations whose brand and apparel need to catch up with the organisation they have become.
It may be right for you if your organisation has:
- grown beyond its original identity;
- accumulated inconsistent uniforms or merchandise;
- multiple disciplines, teams, divisions or programmes;
- separate competition or performance ranges;
- an identity that doesn’t translate well onto apparel;
- too many products without a clear hierarchy;
- plans to rebrand, expand or professionalise.
You don’t need a new logo simply because you work with Brandworx®.
If the identity works, we build from it.
