The Printwear Company – Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all transactions between The Printwear Company Ltd. (“The Company,” “we,” or “us”) and any customer (“you” or “the customer”) relating to the supply of branded apparel, uniforms, digital designs, and supporting services via our Uniform Hub®, client portals, or approved sales channels (including The Printwear Co. Outlet and Etsy Storefront).
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Ordering & Fulfilment
1.1. All orders must be submitted in writing (including via email or through your branded Uniform Hub® portal). No work will begin until full written approval of final artwork and order details is received.
1.2. Minimum order quantities apply and vary by product type, print method, and client account. These will be clearly communicated at the point of quotation or via your dedicated portal.
1.3. All artwork must be supplied in vector format (AI, EPS, or high-resolution PDF) or in a format agreed by The Printwear Company. Non-production-ready files will incur artwork setup fees.
1.4. Amendments to confirmed orders may result in delays and additional charges. We reserve the right to re-quote if significant design, quantity, or specification changes are made.
2. Pricing, VAT & Payment
2.1. All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. VAT will be applied at the applicable rate at checkout or invoicing.
2.2. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Prices may be subject to change due to supply chain fluctuations or updated client requirements.
2.3. Payment terms are strictly upfront for all new customers and Etsy/eBay orders.
2.4. Ownership of goods remains with The Printwear Company until full cleared payment is received.
2.5. Late payments may be subject to statutory interest at 8% per annum plus the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
3.1. Customised goods (including decorated garments, digitally personalised items, or bespoke uniforms) are non-returnable unless faulty.
3.2. Orders cancelled after production has commenced will be invoiced in full, minus delivery if not yet dispatched.
3.3. Goods from our standard range may be returned within 14 days at your expense, provided they are unused, in original packaging, and suitable for resale. Returns are subject to a restocking fee.
3.4. No returns will be accepted for:

Garments printed or embroidered to order

Special colourways, sizes, or non-standard stock

Items used, worn, or washed

Any product sold through clearance or outlet sales
3.5. Any production errors must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We reserve the right to repair or replace before issuing refunds.
4. Delivery & Claims
4.1. All goods are subject to availability. Lead times will be confirmed at time of order or displayed via your client portal.
4.2. Delivery is deemed complete when goods arrive at the address provided or are collected by your nominated courier.
4.3. Any delivery damage, shortage, or error must be reported within 48 hours by phone and in writing within 3 working days of receipt.
4.4. The Printwear Company is not responsible for goods lost or damaged where specific delivery instructions (e.g. “leave behind bin”) were given by the customer.
4.5. Customers must check deliveries carefully on arrival. Any parcels marked as “damaged” or “unchecked” must be signed accordingly on the courier’s Proof of Delivery (POD) to validate claims.
5. Design Rights & Restrictions
5.1. We reserve the right to reject any design or order that includes:

Offensive or discriminatory slogans, images, or text

Copyrighted or trademarked material without written permission

Infringements of any third-party intellectual property
5.2. By submitting artwork or logos, you confirm that you own or have legal permission to reproduce such content. You agree to indemnify The Printwear Company against any claims resulting from unauthorised use.
6. Use of Discount Codes & Offers
6.1. Promotional codes may not be used in conjunction with portal pricing, bundles, or wearer pack discounts unless explicitly stated.
6.2. Discount application is at the sole discretion of The Printwear Company.
7. VAT-Free Products (e.g. Safety Wear)
7.1. Certain items (e.g. safety footwear) may be sold VAT-free if purchased for personal use and not provided to staff as part of employment.
7.2. Where eligibility applies, you must notify us at checkout or in writing. Otherwise, VAT will be charged by default in accordance with HMRC guidance.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
All contracts shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
9. Statutory Rights
These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer or commercial law.
