Do parents or students place their own orders?
No. Graduate of the Arts® leaverswear orders are handled directly with the school to maintain brand consistency, clear communication, and smoother distribution.
We also ensure that portal access is restricted to authorised staff and PTA Leaders, giving each division secure and controlled access when managing their leaverswear requirements.
Can we use our own garments for leaverswear?
No. To guarantee quality, durability, and colour consistency across your full cohort, all leaverswear garments must be supplied by The Printwear Company.
This also ensures our decoration methods perform at their highest standard.
What’s the typical lead time for performing arts leaverswear?
For portal clients, standard production is 10–14 working days from artwork approval.
For project-based clients, the lead time is 4–6 weeks, depending on season and capacity.
Priority production is available depending on your setup and our availability.
Can we preview our leaverswear design before production?
Yes. All Graduate of the Arts® projects include a digital design preview showing layout, typography, placements, and logo positioning before production begins.
Do you offer custom designs for performing arts leaverswear?
Yes. We offer Custom Apparel Design from £750 +VAT for schools wanting a unique layout, typographic treatment, or creative artwork aligned with their performing arts identity.
What is the minimum order quantity per leaverswear design?
Portal clients: 50 garments per design
Project-based clients: 100 garments per design

What’s the difference between Managed Portal Integration and the Project-Based Service?
Managed Portal Integration is for academies with recurring performing arts leaverswear needs. It provides a branded ordering portal, lower minimums, and priority production as standard.
The Project-Based Service is a premium one-time project for schools ordering leaverswear for a single cohort without needing a long-term portal setup.
Can a school start with a project and move into a portal later?
Yes. Many schools begin with a project to experience our design and production quality, then upgrade to a Managed Portal for long-term consistency and reduced admin.
How do deliveries work for leaverswear orders?
Your Graduate of the Arts® leaverswear is delivered in size-labelled cartons, grouped by year or division for easier distribution.
Individual bagging is available on request, which is useful for academies or performing arts schools preparing garments for separate collection.
What decoration methods do you use for performing arts leaverswear?
We use premium methods including UltraColour® DTF, embroidery, and specialist HTV finishes, depending on the garment and the selected Edition. All methods are chosen to deliver long-lasting, high-quality results.
